Northern Illinois University was awarded a two year $2.4 million grant to develop tools for process control and qualifying metallic parts made with additive manufacturing processes. These tools include videos, learning modules, and other materials to help ensure the quality of additive manufacturing produced parts.
Two of the learning modules addressing the Fundamentals of Additive Manufacturing and Process Control for Additive Manufacturing can be downloaded as a series of white papers from the FMA Store.
This white paper is the second lesson in the Fundamentals of Additive Manufacturing Module. View the first lesson as an Additive Manufacturing Informational Video.
